They wouldn’t have known it at the time, but the lads in this group were in for treat early in 1956. The pupils and teachers from Bishop Gore School, Sketty, were about to set off on a rugby trip to Twickenham where England were entertaining a Welsh international XV. The Welsh team included some, by now, famous names such as Onllwyn Brace and Cliff Morgan. And the boys from Swansea would have plenty to cheer about as Wales ran home winners by 8pts to 3. No doubt the result would have given them plenty to chat about on their way home too. Hopefully the Welsh team will enjoy similar success in their current campaign.
