In the Summertime...

So sang Mungo Jerry in 1970. Well the weather has had its highs just lately and Chris ‘Guts’ Griffiths has been taking advantage of the lack of surf to SUP around the points and reefs of Gower.
Summer Sup'ing
Well, the British Summer sure has arrived - I have watched a Brit lose at Wimbledon, the weather has turned a bit funky and people have started playing cricket all over the place.
Summer for us surfers usually means lean pickings. With the more settled summer weather come long flat spells of surf. But, with a bit of luck if you are keen to explore some of the more exposed points and reefs around Gower, you can still find some perfect little gems to ride. So, instead of sitting around moaning about the lack of waves - get out there and do some searching. You never know what you may find!
