in Penmaen

Nicholaston House, in Penmaen was purchased by the Swansea City Mission in 1998 and is now a Christian Retreat and Conference Centre.

Set in tree lined grounds, the house overlooks Oxwich Bay with the moorland of Cefn Bryn behind.

The sea-facing dining room and conservatory are the perfect setting for lunch, and groups, clubs and organisations are welcome to make bookings.

Nicholaston House is a member of the Quiet Garden Trust – the garden is designed to encourage relaxation and a sense of peace to all who visit.

There are two medium sized conference rooms which can be opened up into a large room, seating over 100 people. Accommodation is also available for up to 24 people in ten en-suite bedrooms.

The house plays host to many faith-building courses which vary in nature. Some are just ‘time-out’, some are arts and crafts based, others are designed to look at relationship issues, including marriage preparation and enhancement.

Eating disorder courses are led by internationally renowned speaker, author and counsellor Helena Wilkinson.

Conference facilities and other rooms may be booked by those wishing to run their own training courses, events or corporate away days.

In-house catering facilities are also available to suit a range of requirements. Video equipment, Powerpoint projection and flip charts are available.
