Dormitory Appeal

Girlguiding West Glamorgan

PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR TARGET OF £10,000 TO GO TOWARDS UPDATING THE DORMITORIES IN THE GUIDE CENTRE AT PARKMILL

Do you remember your time in Guiding? Think back, remember the friends you made, the camps and holidays you attended, the things you learned which you are still putting into practice today and the fun you had as a member of the Guide organisation.

Girlguiding West Glamorgan is asking for your support as it embarks on a £10,000 Local Giving Appeal to help with the refurbishment of the dormitories in the West Glamorgan Guide Centre at Parkmill. Over the last 30 years, Guiding has been able to provide a safe, welcoming space at the Centre, for young people to try new things and discover their passions and talents. The dormitory block now needs updating, as it was originally built in the 1940’s for use as a canteen when the centre was a school.

With a current membership of over 2,000 girls, Girlguiding West Glamorgan needs your help to continue to provide facilities that allow young people to make friends, have fun no matter who they are, or whatever their background. Fun and friendship are powerful; help us to continue to be able to offer these opportunities to young people both today and in the future.

Please go the Local Giving webpage to give what you can,
