TINA PRICE has been busy organising upcoming events for the Bay Travel Club and will be back next month with her column offering useful advice for travellers.
Dubbed the ‘Glastonbury of food festivals’ by Observer Food Monthly, Abergavenny Food Festival is one not to be missed – you can sample the best produce from Wales and beyond with over 200 stallholders.

I was delighted to see that Tina had organised this trip to Abergavenny and have booked our places already. How convenient to be picked up and driven in luxury to the Food Festival – parking is always so difficult – and to have lunch at The Angel Hotel knowing that we can indulge in a glass of wine as neither of us will be driving.
I must make a note to take a cool bag to store all the goodies I’m sure to buy – with over 200 exhibitors there is going to be lots to choose from.
A trip is planned for August – Dolphin watching boat-trip in Cardigan Bay from Newquay with a fish and chip lunch. Visit The Bay TRAVEL CLUB Facebook page for full details or see in the June issue of Bay magazine.
