Wales can sometimes feel like the wettest place on earth, with weeks on end of grey skies and raindrops 24/7; with winters that force you to semi-hibernate for months on end.

The surf too can be frustrating, with all the elements that the roaring Atlantic weather system throws at us, it can feel like a thankless task trying to surf in howling wind and hailstones clattering off your head.

However, when the sun eventually shows herself and the wind forgets to howl, sometimes, just sometimes, Wales turns on her charm and becomes the stunning beauty that we all love.

Here’s a few of my favourite shots that capture the beauty and perfection of the country I am so thankful to call home.
