Claudia of the Gower Allergy Clinic introduces the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique
NAET has been successfully practised all over the world for nearly 40 years, and I am the only NAET practitioner in Wales.
NAET is a non-invasive, drug free, natural solution to alleviate allergies of all types and intensities using a blend of selective energy balancing, testing and treatment procedures from acupressure/acupuncture, chiropractic, nutritional and kinesiological disciplines of natural medicine and allopathy.
What can be treated?
Not just hay fever! Treatments are given for the sensitivity to inhalants, ingestants, contactants, injectants, infectants, physical agents, molds and fungi, also genetic causes and emotional stressors. Treatment for any ailment may benefit from NAET as it assists in the absorption of essential nutrients needed for good health, it can also reduce the sensitivity to side effects of drugs, radiation and other medical treatments or medical devices.
Allergies according to NAET
In NAET, allergies are viewed from a holistic perspective based on Oriental medical principles. An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity of a person to one or more substances which may be harmless to the majority of other individuals. In the allergic person, the allergic substance, known as an allergen, is viewed by the immune system as a threat to the body’s well-being.
For our purposes, an allergy is defined in terms of what a substance does to the energy flow in the body. When contact is made with an allergen, it causes blockages in the energy pathways called meridians, or we can say, it disrupts the normal flow of energy through the body’s electrical circuits.
These energy blockages cause interference in communication between the brain and body via the nervous system. This blocked energy flow is the first step in a chain of events that can develop into an allergic response. Allergies are the result of energy imbalances in the body, leading to a diminished state of health in one or more organ systems.
ALLERGIES AS A CAUSE OF YOUR ILLNESS
We now know that most illnesses (i.e. headaches, back aches, joint pains, addiction, PMS, indigestion, cough, body aches, etc.) are often caused by undiagnosed allergies. When left untreated, allergies can develop into serious illnesses.
How long does treatment take?
The number of treatments varies with the type of complaint, how long it has been established, medical history and the general level of health of the person. Fifteen basic allergens are usually treated initially from weekly to monthly intervals, depending on the severity of the symptoms.
