We’re celebrating Easter and the glory of spring this month! It’s finally here and with it, the wonderment of the season. Blaufrankisch is an important central European red grape variety. The soils in the vineyards (for these grapes at Judith Beck) are alive and healthy and grasses are encouraged to grow between the rows of vines (which can help manage soil fertility and quality and encourage biodiversity). Biodynamic principles are adhered to and there is minimal intervention in the winery. Judith Beck crafts a wine that has lively, peppery and juicy cherry and blackberry fruit flavours.
