The month of May has arrived and the elusive season of summer is finally upon us. To celebrate, why not try a sensational sparkling wine from South Africa which is made the same way Champagne is. Then, on to a tremendously flavourful Riesling from Hugel in Alsace, which is exceptional. An exclusive rose from the Cotes de Provence (in a very modish looking bottle) along with a terrific Barolo, completes my recommendations. Enjoy!
