Tru-d by Kazavon

Last year I met Laura Sanford who had set up a business selling end of lines and sample goods that were destined for landfill. Ridiculously, it is cheaper for big brands to dump these goods instead of paying for storage. Laura’s sister Abigail got in touch to update me on their business – they have expanded and are now producing activewear in memory of their mum.

Here Abigail tells their story.

In January 2021 we tragically lost our Mum to inflammation of the heart caused by COVID. Trudie Cooke was only 59, and her death absolutely shook our worlds and destroyed the dynamics of our entire lives. As with many families over the last 2 years, we were unable to be together and celebrate this incredible woman’s life. It was a very lonely time, and there is still so much hurt and sadness.

Since losing Mum we have cried a lot, laughed at our memories and decided to be better and stronger people. Laura has built a business called Kazavon that sells authentic and original designer items that were destined for landfill, including women’s clothing and accessories, menswear, footwear, children’s clothing and other miscellaneous products, all at up to 70% off RRP.

But Laura’s focus didn’t stop there. Along with a small team around her, she designed her own range of women’s active wear, in memory of our Mum. So let us introduce TRU-d.

We have a range of active wear including jackets, hoodies, leggings and tees, in navy or black, available now through our eBay shop. These products are designed for women of any shape, size and ability so whether you’re an avid gym goer, love a stroll on the beach or are just looking for comfortable leisurewear, we have just the thing for you.

I am so proud of Laura and our little team for this amazing achievement and I know our Mum would be too. Visit us at our ebay shop now for our new activewear range and all other gorgeous designer items and feel free to leave us some feedback.
